provides accurate results through low cost 3D camera technology. Without the

3D WoundCare from GPC

3D WoundCare allows healthcare workers to quickly and accurately measure the dimensions of wounds, such as pressure ulcers, burns, leg ulcers and foot ulcers.
The application utilises low cost 3D camera technology to provide length, width, depth and area measurements, all with a single picture.
The correct measurement of wound size and wound depth is very important forthe assessment of the wound healing process. Only if the development of a skin defect over a longer period of time can be accurately estimated, it is possible to
recognize whether the currently used therapy is effective or not.
To achieve this, the created 3D images are superimposed over time. Thus, thewound healing process can be observed in its development. This regular monitoring makes it possible to identify progress and complications and to optimize budget-relevant wound management, especially from a financial point of view.
A recent study revealed that the 3D WoundCare application was, on average, 74% faster at measuring wounds dimensions. The study also showed a lower variation in wound measurements when using our application versus standard
practice.
Due to its horizontal, patient-centered approach and dynamic data structure, the Medixine suite is particularly suitable for the treatment of patients in the areas of cancer, diabetes, hypertension, asthma and many other chronic diseases – as well as during pregnancy and other conditions.
